DAYTONA

Hi!!!

It has been a while since my last blog…So many things happened!

As you all know, I am in Daytona (Florida), for the LPGA Q-School. I am really excited about it! I arrived ten days ago, after spending three weeks at home preparing, resting and getting ready! I am very happy because I feel as though not going to the Asian tournaments was the right thing to do for a fantastic finish in my 2009 season. Instead, I decided to play two tournaments from the Suncoast Series here in Florida, taking place in both courses that are played for the final.

My time at home was amazing. I had lots of fun on the course, as well as outside the course with my family and friends. It was very important for my mental game to get the needed rest my body and mind was asking for. I also got to see my friends all together which it is not very usual, and that was very special to me. Overall, I worked on the swing parts I wanted and got the quality time with my beloved ones.

Back to competition again, I played my first warm-up tournament during the dates of the 18th and 19th of Nov in the Champions Course, here at the LPGA International. It was an OK tournament, where I shot one under and one over par. We were focusing on the grain of the greens and working on getting adapted to the course conditions. We got the information we wanted, and so we changed focus for the second tournament, taking place in the Legends Course (23rd and 24th Nov). I shot level par and four under par to win by two shots! I was very happy with my second win of the season (As Stewart Craig, the co-founder of ProStance said: “You only have to beat the one that is in front of you!”). Check the results in the following website www.suncoastseries.com I earned 1500 dollars which is not bad :)

As you can imagine, I feel incredibly confident about next week, as I know I am in the best shape since early this season, and I know I did the correct approach for Q-School. I am now enjoying my days of half rest half preparation before Saturday, when I will start my practice rounds heading towards Wednesday start. Until then, it is all about reading and keeping in shape (on the course and at the gym).

For those who like to read (I am a crazy for books), I recommend you all an amazing one that just fell into my hands. It is called “The freedom to be” (I guess the translation into English is something like that), by Annie Marquier. It was unbelievable. I am sure you will love it as much as I did.

If you have any questions that you would like me to answer, don’t hesitate and send me an email in the contact section you will find in the menu.

Don’t miss my next blog talking about final!! And by the way, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Thank you so much!
