It is very nice to be at home and enjoy the company of family and friends but even more when you barely see them throughout the year! As you can see in the calendar, the season has been quite busy, and because there are still two important competitions for me left. I decided it was a better idea to be at home to get some rest and to make a good preparation for the end of the season.
While I was reading the paper one day, I saw a very interesting thing in it. They had just started a new podiatrist company in Pamplona (they have more offices all over Spain), where they analyze your feet to improve walking and to decrease the amount of load in certain parts of them, and therefore on leg muscles/back, diminishing tiredness and improving performance. They have been working with many sports, especially football (national sport in Spain). I believe they are one of the best in the market since the have clients such as Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza and some others (check their website www.podoactiva.es), or if you Google it I bet you can find many interesting things about this company. So anyway, I went there and they made a full study of my little feet and suggested me to get new orthotics. One of the benefits for me it is not only the reduction of tiredness in my body after so much walking (tournament after tournament), but a much better balance for my swing. I was thrilled to get them and try them out on the golf course, and yes, they are working great.
My days here have been amazing. I am eating great food everyday, practicing hard, and enjoying quality time with my beloved family. I still have two more weeks where I am going to give my game the last push. I will be taking part in two SunCoast Tour events in the LPGA International (where the final takes place). I am very excited of what’s coming up!!!
