Hawaii

Published on April 25, 2012 by

Dear all!

It was about time for an update! I am so excited to present you my new website in the form of a blog. I know my last post has been a long ago, but I am excited to get back to you with a great venue, Hawaii! It was my first time in the Island, and it was amazing! The resort was right in from of the hotel, and it was also my birthday during that week! Yes, i turned 25! It wasn’t my best day at the golf course but overall, i had a great tournament. I am very proud of how I handled mentally my first two days especially. It was incredibly windy everyday, and it seemed as I got more and more out of sink with my swing. Something very common when you play in such conditions for 7 days in a row. I learnt from it and wrote down a note for future times! My putting stats though, are getting better and better! Excited about this week in Alabama. BUt for now, here there are some pics from Hawaii!

Orlando

Published on March 5, 2012 by

Hi Everyone!!!!

What an amazing week I just had. I drove up to Orlando last Saturday, and as the days were passing by, things were getting better and better. First of all, I got the chance to play Lake Nona on Sunday, I really like that course… Monday was day of practice and worked on my bag set up, I decided to remove my 5 iron (since I already have a 5 hybrid), and change the loft of my wedges so I can add a third one. On Tuesday I played one of the best courses in Orlando, and that is Isleworth… I am just going to say that I haven’t played a better course than that one in order to get ready for a tournament. Wednesday was more practicing, and Thursday was the “show time”! Haha! Don’t get scared, I am talking about the PGA Show that is held every year in January. For the third year in a row, I have been in my beloved sponsor’s booth, that is Daily Sports. For those who have never heard of the brand, it is a Swedish, and they have been in the golf clothing business for years, although they have been selling in the US only for the last three. Don’t hesitate and check their website www.dailysports.se

I also want to share with all of you the happy news that I became a Brand Ambassador for Golfing World (www.golfingworld.tv). That means I will not only post photos but also videos… A lot of “inside the ropes”… Will make it fun!

3 days till practice starts!

Published on December 30, 2011 by

Hola!

Today it is the 30th of December!!! Most of us are already analyzing how this 2011 has been, what we liked, what we didn’t like and of course, what we want to change. For me, it has been a good year, achieved my main goal for the year and learnt a lot about my game. I also learnt a lot about who I am and my weaknesses, some things I didn’t even know about me.

I read once in a magazine, a very famous model decided as a New Year’s resolution to quit a bad habit and take up a good one. She stopped smoking and started yoga. Well, I don’t smoke, but I committed to get rid of things I don’t need and keep storing at home and give them to people who need it more than I do (a good friend gave me this advice). The more I was “deleting” the better I felt. I think to a certain extent, we should all do it, even more considering these times. I am also gonna get serious with my Japanese thanks to the Language Training Center, and start practicing yoga. Think about it, what would you like to improve in yourself for the next year? Come up with something and stick to it, with commitment and no excuses ;-)

I am leaving you with this thought, I suggest you take the time to think about it.

Tonight I am going to have dinner with my friends (enjoying every single minute left of my Holiday time!)

Bea :-)

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Published on December 25, 2011 by

Hola hola!!!

Feliz Navidad (in Spanish) and Merry Christmas!!! Today is the 25th and I cannot wait to see my family! We are gonna have a nice proper Spanish meal and of course, lots of iberico ham.

It has been two weeks already since I landed in Europe from Taiwan and it has been unbelievable times. I have seen my friends, spent time with my family, met new amazing people and had lots of fun! I know I promised photos, as soon as I come back to the US in January I will post some so you can enjoy some imagery.

Presents from Santa?? None! My best present actually is to be back and enjoy my time off back home. Plus, we have the Three kings the 6th of Jan (Spanish tradition) but I don’t think they reach American soil :-( too bad!

Time for me to go and help my mother in the kitchen!!

Merry Christmas again! Have fun!

Bea

Oh my dear Spanish food!

Published on December 16, 2011 by

I arrived last Monday, and ever since, I have been spoiled with my favorite food!!! Check out this photo!

Not only I am lucky because I travel but because I get to enjoy many different styles of food like Chinese, Japanese. Thai, etc and still, I think Spanish is the best. 3 weeks at home, filling up myself for the entire year!

And tonight, I am going to have dinner with all my friends, I can’t wait, celebrating a good year with them! I will post many pics for sure!!

My first blog!!

Published on December 13, 2011 by

Jet lag is called…that’s what I have right now at 3 AM local time in Pamplona after spending one week in Taiwan playing the swinging skirts tournament. It was my last tournament of the year and I had a blast! The entire organization treated us like stars all week long! I played really solid golf, even more if you consider the 30 mile an hour wind with sideways rain :-P Thank you to everybody involved for taking such good care of us, I hope to be back next year!
Finished T6 for what means my end of the 2011 season. Now, it is time to rest and enjoy my time in Spain which I don’t get to be here a lot and charge my batteries for what I expect to be a great 2012!

3:18 AM right now, let’s check what’s on TV! Well, maybe reading a book it is probably more enriching for my brain that what I might watch at these time of the day…my crime book wins!

Bea :-)
