Australia!! T4!! Very happy with the start of the year. Made some good putts and hit the ball really well except for my driver the last day.. I loved the course. Narrow and tricky greens!! I am at the bus right now on my way to Thailand! One of my favorite events and place to go. The definition of spa is taken to the next level!!

Hope this blog finds all of you great! I am back from a great off season ready to start 2013′s competition.

This start of the year had an extra stop on the way to ISPS Australian Open, and that was New Zealand! The reason why, tournament of course! It was held in Christchurch and it was quite shocking to see, two years after the big earthquake how many damaged buildings there still are. MUST go country, beautiful sightseeing and food!! Paradise for me as I have a gluten free diet. Easy to find in any restaurant and cafe’s you might go. Friendly people anywhere you go as well!

I enjoyed the course and it was good to get back to tournament mode. Finished T9 and first top 10 of the year.

Next stop, Canberra, Australia! Two new places already. Stay put for info and updates!

Hope everyone had some quiet time with family and friends during the holidays! I certainly did! My aunt visited from Spain, and it was fun to show her around Florida. It was refreshing to have some Spanish traditions over Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Year’s Eve since I wasn’t able to go back to Spain. My parents and my aunt brought some holiday sweets and skyped at 6 PM on the 31st live from Spain to do the “12 uvas” (12 grapes, a Spanish tradition).

For 2013, I recommend all my friends to drop a bad habit and take a new one. For example me, I committed to take my Japanese serious and study one hour a day instead of watching TV after dinner. I love “The Big Bang Theory” show but i certainly don’t need to watch replays What are yours??

I went back to practice to prepare this year’s season and here there are some pics taken from yesterday!!

Finished for the season!! It has been an amazing year, I want to thank all of you for your support!

I played good golf in Taiwan for the Swinging Skirts tournament. Finished with a great round of level par with very tough and windy/rainy conditions. I am happy to say it is time for some deserved holidays! I am not a person that can stay at home and do nothing so I already bought a bike and who knows what else I will be doing for the next few weeks!! I am also excited to pursue my Japanese studies again thanks so my partnership and awesome sponsor, Language Training Center. Already had a lesson and here there are my notes and homework from it!

Really, my last! It is called Swinging Skirts and will take place in Taiwan. I feel ready, rested and excited to play again in this event (back to back years). I saw the weather forecast and it is going to rain and it will be windy, sounds familiar! Anyway, the people are incredibly nice and welcoming so it will be fun! 54 hole tournament starting Friday! Will make a post next week so you can follow online.

This week has been a come back to practice and gym in order to prepare for it. I am feeling in good shape! Here there are some pics while practicing, etc!

Hope everybody had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend, and for my European followers, hope you had a great weekend anyway!! I told all of you I was done, true, I have this one event left in Taiwan called Swinging Skirts and then I will be totally done with my 2012 golf season. I picked up the golf clubs yesterday, and I will be leaving to Taipei this coming Sunday. I am very excited to play this tournament for the second year in a row!

I must say my week off went fast! Here there are some pics!

Black Friday! Black Friday! Woke up at 6:30 AM this morning to see the craziness of today, turned out there was nobody at the mall! Had a walk around and took advantage of two great deals in the store and drove back home! Decided to take care of some things and go to the gym. I am back!

Here it is the thanksgiving dinner Spanish way. Didn’t have turkey per se, had turkey hotdog and a delicious dinner! We don’t celebrate thanksgiving day in Spain, but had a great dinner and now I am watching football! And tomorrow, Black Friday! Great timing to have a week off!
